Book Introduction
▶ Let's increase understanding and reduce the burden by reading background knowledge related to the learning content of middle school subjects!
The "Reading Relay" series was designed to reduce the learning burden on middle school students who must study multiple subjects by composing English texts based on materials appearing in each subject in middle school textbooks.
In addition, it was structured so that even students who have difficulty reading in English can easily understand it by first presenting Korean background knowledge to make it easier to understand the text, and then approaching the following content in English.
The 『Reading Relay』 series consists of 6 volumes: STARTER 1,2/ CHALLENGER 1,2 / MASTER 1,2.
Considering the study time and pattern, 24 texts were included per volume so that students can study one volume per semester, and the distribution of materials and the amount of questions were adjusted to ensure that students feel a sense of accomplishment.
In addition, reflecting the level of students in each grade, the proportion of Korean in the problems and choices is high at the STARTER level, English and Korean are maintained at about half and half at the CHALLENGER level, and the proportion of English is set much higher at the MASTER level, so that learners can choose according to their ability.
