Description
Book Introduction
I just exercised
I heard a voice in my heart

13 years of yoga experience and 20 years of office work.
After hurting my back, I realized I couldn't do yoga anymore, so I started strength training at the gym near my house and recorded my 5-year record.
The strength training I started doing casually made me study my body and helped me get to know back muscles that I thought I would never be able to see in my life.
A change began in the way I looked at my own body, which I had thought was short and had thick thighs. It was as if that time was a time of immersion where my mind answered my body's questions.
I thought I was talking to my muscles, but my heart kept answering.
My head became clearer and ideas started to flow, so I wrote a book and even created a side character in addition to my main character, an office worker.
Not only is my body healthy, but my mind is also healthy.
What changed during those five years of exercising was not only my body, but also my mind and ultimately my life.

Into the book
“Daughter, if you eat three meals a day, you have to exercise for one meal,” my mom used to say, so I decided to include exercise in my daily routine.
This is because countless failures have taught me that it is only possible if you make it a habit.
Maybe that's why I feel like going to the gym even more when I have to discipline my mind.

Publisher's Review
The secret to strength training you can't know until you try it

This is a kind of report that combines the content of a female civil servant who worked out to survive for 16 years, 13 years of yoga and 3 years of gym, to describe how not only her body but also her mind changed, along with the exercise-related books she enjoyed reading and her own strength training experiences.

The author emphasizes that if you think you are just a body, you should look at your body again.
He said that he had always thought of the body as second only to the mind and reason, and had never thought of it as the center of who he was. However, he said that through exercise, he was able to completely overturn his stereotypes.
In other words, it is a confession that the body came first.

Trying strength training for the first time became more than just exercise; it became a time to learn about my body. The experience of recognizing my body's reactions was the first step toward self-awareness, and exercise became a time to fully communicate with my body.
How can readers understand the secrets of the exercise the author so lauds?

In fact, I can't know what it tastes like unless I try it myself.
In the book, the author says that if you want to study the body, study the muscles, and that you should know your body better than your trainer.
Moreover, if you straighten your body pillars through exercise, your mind pillars will also become stronger on their own. If you can control your body, it will be easier to manage your mind. Ultimately, it shows that your body is just your mind that is visible on the outside.

What state is my mind in right now? What state is my body in right now? Your body tells you.
