The "Life" Coloring Book You'll Want to Give Your Parents

Moments of life encountered through coloring

This book was created based on the author's experience as an art psychologist and various classes he taught with seniors at welfare centers and nursing homes.
Two colored pencil drawings and coloring samples added to a warm pencil sketch of the changing seasons and moments of life.
This book is not just about coloring, but focuses on recalling memories and telling stories through short texts that accompany the pictures.
This is a memory-boosting coloring book for parents who want to reminisce and talk about their memories.
- A friendly and easy colored pencil coloring book
- Includes two color samples
- A loving message that helps me tell my story.
- Practical binding that allows you to tear off individual pages
■ What kind of picture is it?
This book contains the flow of the four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
From cherry blossoms, flower fields, and elementary school entrance ceremonies to sledding, drying soybean paste, and grandmothers holding their grandchildren.
We've woven together the changing seasons and precious moments of life.
■ What tools should I use to color?
The colored pictures in this book were drawn with 12 colored pencils, pastels, and pencil pastels.
It is a simple and easy to use tool.
- Colored pencils: I like both colored pencils that you can use by turning them or colored pencils that you can use by sharpening them.
- Pastel: Use when you want to color darkly.
It is soft and spreadable, so even those with weak hands can use it easily.
- Pencil pastel: If you rub it with your hand, you can express a soft feeling well.
It's very useful when painting large areas of background.
■ How to color it?
There are two colored pictures on the left page.
This is just one example, feel free to paint it in any color that best suits your mood.
Listen to the voice of my heart.
So that I, the one coloring, become the master of the picture,
It is designed to allow for a variety of coloring of hand-drawn sketches.
I hope that this will not be a well-drawn picture, but a picture that expresses my feelings well.
■ Color while talking.
The short essays in this book will serve as a springboard for creating your own stories.
Look at the pictures and talk about them with your parents or elders.
“Dad, what was it like when I entered school?”
“Your mom and I both really liked bungeoppang.”
“Mom, who did you walk down the cosmos path with?”
“On the day of the fall sports day, I held your hand tightly and ran.”
As you color while sharing stories, free associations arise.
The association activates the ability to think, and not only exercises the brain,
It also helps prevent dementia.
■ You can tear off each sheet and use it.
All the illustrations in this book are my own work.
You can tear it off and stick it on the wall, or give it as a gift.
First, press firmly along the dotted line to fold it, then tear it off.
