Into the book
Solomon includes this very prayer in the Book of Proverbs.
Perhaps it is because I thought this prayer was the wisest prayer.
I agree, hitting my knees.
What truly is the wisest prayer? It is not to lose sight of God.
What are we seeking? Are we missing out on the God Agur so feared, and foolishly seeking the success and wealth Agur so trivialized?
--- 「13.
From “The Wiseest Prayers”

Two words in Proverbs 1:32 catch my eye.
It is ‘regression’ and ‘complacence.’
'Regression' is the state of not being able to move forward or grow and gradually falling behind, and 'complacence' is the state of mind of wanting to stay in the current position without any earnestness or passion.

There is a clear causal relationship between the two words.
It is precisely this complacency that leads to regression.
An-il is clearly a desire to stay in the current position, but with that kind of mindset, you will never be able to maintain that position and will inevitably fall behind.
Why is that? Why do I want to be content with my current situation and just sit back, yet end up falling behind?
--- 「28.
“It’s a world where if you don’t move forward, you fall behind.”

How about it? Ultimately, anger, impatience, and jealousy can be summarized by the following questions:
Why can't things go my way?
Why don't things get done when I want them to?
Why was something allowed to him that was not allowed to me?
The point of these questions is all directed toward God's sovereignty.
If so, there is only one way to overcome anger, impatience, and jealousy.
It is acknowledging and submitting to the ‘sovereignty of God.’
Let us not forget that God rules over the world, is the master of time, and has granted us many talents and gifts.
Only then can we be free from anger, impatience, and jealousy and find peace.
I hope you will humbly acknowledge God's sovereignty.

--- 「49.
From "Why are you angry and jealous?"

What we should pay attention to is the place where enlightenment came to him.
When we looked only at them, we were tempted, but when we looked up from the sanctuary of God and saw the end, we were finally freed from all temptations.
Why is God's sanctuary so precious? Because it transforms our perspective as we worship.
Because it allows us to shift our gaze from the present to the distant future.
I sincerely hope that our perspectives and values will change as we worship.
--- 「56.
There is no need to envy the prosperity of the wicked.

One day, while reading Proverbs 31, the word “virtuous woman” kept being read as “church.”
“Who can find a virtuous church? For its price is far above rubies.”
The more I meditated on it, the more I felt blessed.
In particular, when reading verses 28-29 with the word ‘church’ included, there is a deep emotion.
“The Lord praises many virtuous churches, but you are superior to them all.”
In this age, more than ever, we are desperately seeking a mature church, a church that is truly a church.
