Book Introduction
"Corrie Ten Boom" tells the story of Corrie Ten Boom, who sang of hope even in the painful reality of being driven mad by cruel hatred under Nazi rule.
The reason she was able to do so was because the Bible verses her father had taught her since she was young were vividly alive in her heart.
You will learn valuable lessons from Cory's life, which saw hope and perseverance through faith in a reality where only death was visible.

Publisher's Review
Corrie ten Boom (1892-1983)
She was born as the youngest daughter of Kasper ten Boom and Cornelia Lüting.
The Ten Boom family started their watch business in Barthelioristraat, Haarlem, Netherlands, starting with their grandfather.
Because of the Ten Boom family's love of giving to their neighbors and sharing in their struggles, Corey's house was always bustling with people.
Corey worked as a tutor and learned watch repair skills from her father, becoming the first female watchmaker to obtain a certificate.
In 1940, the Nazis invaded the Netherlands, and Cory's family gradually became involved in saving Jews.
Arrested by Gestapo agents in 1944, Cory's family suffered through a painful prison life, some dying and others being released.
Even in extreme pain, Corey never gives up hope and eventually becomes free.
After being set free, Corey continued to testify about the living God through his writings, refugee camp ministry, and speaking engagements, and passed away on April 15, 1983, his ninety-first birthday.
