Description
Book Introduction
This book is written to help you gain a basic understanding of the liturgy.
It is largely composed of Part 1, ‘Respond, Liturgy’, Part 2, ‘Wise Liturgy Symbols’, Part 3, ‘Aha~ Liturgy Space!’, and Part 4, ‘Easy to Understand Mass Liturgy’.
It explains in detail the basic concepts of the liturgy, the symbols essential for the liturgy as a model to reveal the mysteries of Christ as its prototype, the liturgical spaces of the church that actualize the places where the mysteries of Christ are realized in the liturgy, and each part of the Mass as the culmination of the unity of Christ.
This structure is intended to make it easier to experience encountering Christ in the liturgy, which is “the summit toward which the Church’s activity tends and at the same time the source from which all her power flows” (Sacrosanctum Concilium, 10).
I hope this book will serve as a useful guide for liturgical education for seminarians, monks, and parishioners seeking to live a more fervent religious life.
