I was amazed when I studied Paul's prayer.
Because it was so different from my prayers.
His prayers did not include prayers for my health, my family's health, or my life's prosperity.
His prayers were consistently filled with the biblical values ​​he held dear.


His prayers were ultimately connected to the sanctification he sought.
His prayers were shaping his life.
His prayer was a thorough journey of sanctification.
It was a prayer that showed at a glance the value of maturity he pursued.


As I studied and preached his prayers, I reflected on my own.
His prayers were challenging me to change my prayers.
In fact, I preached his prayer and changed my prayer list.
His prayers were becoming my prayers.


The Korean church has yet to escape the level of superstitious faith.
Could the reason be unrelated to our prayer life? While studying Paul's prayers, I was faced with the challenge of transforming prayer.
And I realized that the transformation of our prayers is a task for our maturity.


Paul tells the Korean church to learn from his prayers.
When our prayers mature, we will be able to speak of the maturity of the Korean church.
