Among the author's sermons, we have selected those that touch the heart and illuminate the times and published them as "Lee Jae-cheol's Message."
The author's sermons, characterized by a deep understanding of humanity and a clear understanding of text, deliver a deeper message after returning to the countryside in 2018, discovering God speaking in nature and using nature as text.
This collection of sermons provides an example of how to deliver the word of God according to the circumstances of the church and the level of the congregation, and aims to capture the author's vivid voice as if he were speaking directly in front of the preacher.
Now, we have compiled six books in the [Pastor Jae-cheol Lee's Message] series, which are difficult to produce (『The Lord's Man』, 『The Lord's Church』, 『The Lord's Judgment』, 『The Lord's Healing』, 『The Food and Water of Suffering』, 『The Level of the Church Member, the Level of the Pastor』), as well as two sermons delivered at Gwaeok Central Church ('Nature and Faith 1, 2').

He was 80 years old when he saw God in the burning bush in an empty field and heard God's voice.
I have nothing.
He was a shepherd, and all the sheep he tended belonged to his father-in-law Jethro.
I lived with my in-laws for 40 years.
All he had was a staff of dry branches he had broken off to drive his sheep.
When he held out his staff, the Red Sea parted, and when he struck it, the rock split open, freeing the Israelites. This was possible because he was in the wilderness of Midian.

My wife has been tending a vegetable garden in the countryside, something she had never done before in the city.
So last year I ate tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage, and broccoli all from my garden.
When I said, "You've worked hard," my wife said this.
'I didn't work hard at all, and the only thing I did was water the plants.
The water is gone.
I just watered it and tomatoes started growing in the garden.
'The eggplant came up.' I heard that story, and from the next day on, whenever I looked at the water in the cup, there was a tomato in it.
There is a branch in that cup.
There is cabbage in that cup.
Since then, rain has been falling from the sky.
Tomatoes fall from the sky.
A branch falls from the sky.
Broccoli is falling from the sky.
I've never felt that way in the city.

I am wearing a black suit as I preach now.
When it comes to formal attire, it's almost always black.
Why do you wear black for formal wear? Black is the only color that makes you stand out.
The more colorful and flashy the clothes are, the more they stand out.
When you wear flashy clothes, you actually make your clothes stand out.
When we wear black clothes and worship, it means, 'God, I offer myself to you just as I am.'

This blackness makes me visible by making me black.
The sound of the recording becomes a black background, and the greens come alive and dance.
It looks as if Cheonbansan is wearing a black suit with a green tie and pattern pinned on top.
People in the old days made up a wonderful word called recording.
Those who coined this phrase must have seen this sound.

No matter what you dress up, it's all useless.
It needs to be erased.
There are times in our lives when we are in the spotlight of life.
This too will eventually turn off.
It turns off in an instant.
The most foolish person is the one who thinks his life will last for a thousand years.
Only when we understand that there will come a time on life's stage when the lights go down, the curtain comes down, and we have to take off our makeup can we live each moment to the fullest.
Only those who know that there is a time for their own departure can live a meaningful life to the fullest.

What Paul knew means that Luke, who wrote the Acts of the Apostles, also heard it from Paul.
Because Luke was a doctor, he wrote scientifically, analytically, and specifically.
But only in the text are the founders of that great Antioch church, that famous Antioch church, that important Antioch church, anonymously referred to as 'Thines Andres' and 'certain people.'
Why? Because some people were hiding themselves.
Because they were people who did not reveal themselves.
Paul, who highly regarded their hearts and minds, told Luke about this fact, and when Luke wrote the Acts of the Apostles, he referred to them as 'Thines Andres' or 'certain people' for the reward they would receive in the kingdom of God.

Folks, if you scout a pastor based on those standards, you will bring in a so-called CEO.
As a pastor, I ask you this:
A pastor is not a CEO.
The sermon vibrates the air for a moment and then disappears.
It's a 'word'.
Everyone, look at the Bible.
More than 90 percent of the Bible is difficult for us to hear.
These are words that scold us.
Why does God send us prophets, Jesus, and scold and rebuke us with His Word? Because He loves us, because we are trapped in sin and are falling into sin, and because He rebukes us so that we can righteously redeem our lives without wasting a single second of our lives.
That is the word of life.
But the CEO speaks 'nice words' rather than the 'word of God' that the believers need to hear.
Nice-sounding words may sound good for the moment they vibrate the air, but they will never change your life.
