2026 Sim Woo-cheol, let's go knowing this
Description
Book Introduction
"2026 Sim Woo-cheol, Let's Know This" is a final summary of the key vocabulary/practical English/grammar.
We have thoroughly analyzed the trends in national and local government exam questions from the past seven years, the sample questions from the newly revamped Ministry of Personnel Management's first and second rounds, and the intentions of the examiners of the 2025 national and local government exam questions, and included only the core concepts.
Minor synonyms, idioms, and grammar points were not included, and only memorization points that are likely to appear were selected and included.
This is a perfect final summary book that allows you to sufficiently practice applying the concepts you have learned, including a total of 200 questions, including carefully selected past and modified questions that match the type and tone of the Shin Kyung-hyang exam, as well as expected questions created by the institute itself.

Publisher's Review
1.
Completely revised to fit the new trend test
There will be major changes to the 2025 national and local government English exams.
The vocabulary has been strengthened in the blank type, and the weight of the underlined synonym problems has been reduced.
In everyday English, understanding the context of conversations related to work has become more important than memorizing minor expressions.
Grammar has changed from sentence and composition type to paragraph and blank type.
[2026 Let's Know This] is in line with these changes.
We boldly deleted useless words, idioms, and expressions and added new words, idioms, everyday English expressions, and grammar points to suit the new trend.
2.
Final Key Summary, divided into three parts
There are a total of 7 questions in 3 parts: vocabulary, everyday English, and grammar.
[Let's just know this] is a textbook for 7 questions and 35 points.
Professor Sim Woo-cheol and Simpson English Institute have painstakingly extracted key concepts by thoroughly analyzing the trends in national and local government exam questions from the past seven years, the first and second sample questions from the newly revamped Ministry of Personnel Management, and the intentions of the examiners of the 2025 national and local government exam questions.
To help students avoid feeling anxious, we've included the most important concepts covering the entire content of each section, so please be sure to study them repeatedly until just before the exam.
3.
Carefully selected core questions and predicted questions produced by the institute
I put a lot of thought into how much of the previous exam questions should be included.
Since past exam questions deviate significantly from recent exam trends, only the problems that really need to be solved are included, and problems that do not fit the trend have been modified.
If we determined that the modified questions did not fit the current trend, we boldly discarded them, and the Simpson English Institute created our own questions to match the type and intent of the new trend test.
We are confident that the exam will be structured around 100 vocabulary questions, 60 practical English questions, and 40 grammar questions carefully selected by our institute.
4.
Minimize synonyms, idioms, and grammar points
I understand that test takers who usually read 2,000 to 3,000 words have a strong need to quickly review only key words as they approach the final season.
Therefore, we chose 200 word headings and did not include related synonyms in the textbook unless they were likely to appear on the test. For students who want to thoroughly prepare for the new exam, we carefully selected only 70 words that frequently appear in the new reading comprehension.
Since the idioms are not as detailed as before, only the 100 most important idioms necessary for reading are included, and the grammar is at a level where you can sufficiently cover the entire scope in about 3 hours, so only the key points are included.
