Publisher's Review
Beginning with the FTA with Chile in 2004, our country has concluded FTAs with all three major global economies: the EU, the United States, and China. As a trade environment based on FTAs is rapidly being established, FTA trade is expected to expand further.

Accordingly, this book is composed of a total of 10 parts. Part 1 introduces the basic contents that must be understood when studying FTAs, such as the purpose of promoting FTAs, as well as the current status of FTA promotion in Korea and the main contents of individual agreements.

In Part 2, we provide a detailed explanation of the legislative intent, legal structure, and definitions of key terms of our country's "FTA Tariff Special Measures Act," to help readers more easily understand the overall content of this book.

Next, Chapters 3 through 10 contain the main contents of the current 'FTA Tariff Act' related to the application or utilization of FTA, categorized by characteristics. To help readers understand, the contents are first divided into paragraphs based on individual procedures or business areas, and then explained in the order of legal provisions whenever possible. In cases where there are matters stipulated separately in individual agreements, explanations for these are added.
