The second installment of 'The Harmony of Sounds Created Together through Classroom Instrumental Ensemble'!

This book is the second volume in the series “Onumdahae Classroom Ensemble,” a collection of music for school instrumental ensembles. Following the first volume, which was for 3rd and 4th graders, this time it is for 5th and 6th graders.


This book was published by the 'National Elementary Music Classroom Ensemble Research Team', a group of teachers who want to create beautiful ensemble activities in their classrooms with children, reminiscent of their fond memories.
To enable children to personally experience the harmony of sounds and the beauty of music created together, we have selected and arranged songs suitable for classroom ensemble performances and introduced them. We have also included the authors' teaching know-how to suggest effective methods for practicing and teaching ensemble performances.

This book contains a variety of classroom ensemble scores, organized by difficulty level, that go beyond what textbooks can provide, allowing students to utilize appropriate pieces based on their level, class and school situation, and performance purpose.
Additionally, for each song, we provide tips for ensemble instruction, piece sheet music for partial practice, piano accompaniment sheet music for students who play the piano, and QR codes for accompaniment MR and ensemble example videos to help students challenge classroom ensembles without an accompanist.
Various tips that will be helpful for classroom ensemble performances are also introduced in the appendix.


The songs in this book can be played not only by 5th and 6th graders, but also by 4th graders or middle school students depending on the students' level, class and school situation, and performance purpose, so we recommend appropriate selection and use.
Many children will enjoy playing instruments, feel the harmony of sounds, and experience happiness and a sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, teachers will experience a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction through the classroom ensemble guidance process.
