A harmonica with a beautiful and emotional tone that is popular

Playing an instrument is playing your life.
Compared to other instruments that are inconvenient to carry, the harmonica is very small and light, making it easy to carry, and its beautiful and emotional tone makes it a great instrument for the general public.
How amazing is it that you can practice anytime, anywhere without harming your surroundings, and that you can play with various techniques and beautiful harmonies, accompanying without the help of other instruments? The only instruments that can simultaneously play accompaniment and melody are the keyboard, harp, and guitar. The harmonica is the only instrument that requires blowing.

I have been playing the harmonica since I was young, learning on my own by looking at sheet music. It was not until I was in my sixties that I met world-renowned performers Lee Hye-bong, the president of the Korean Harmonica Federation, and Lee Hae-shin, and began to learn systematically. After that, I searched countless large bookstores to find a collection of pieces that included playing techniques, but all I could find were sheet music with simple melodies; I could not find any collections that added harmony and playing techniques.
So, I decided to create a collection of repertoire with added techniques for those who want to play the harmonica, and after six years of preparation, I have now published this collection of repertoire.

Unlike staff music, harmonica uses numbered music.

Unlike staff music, harmonica music uses numbered music notation. Only numbers and some musical symbols can be processed by computer, while drawing lines, dots, and connecting lines can all be done by hand, requiring a tremendous amount of time and effort to create the music notation.
In particular, adding harmony and technique was a truly difficult process that required an unimaginable amount of time and concentration of ability.
After writing it all down and playing it, I would often have to revise it again, and after playing it again a few months or years later, I would often have to revise it again. It's called revision, but it means I have to re-create the entire score by hand.

I am also a writer of poetry and essays. While poetry and essays can be easily edited on the computer, I have to play harmonica music to find out if it needs editing, and editing means rebuilding the whole thing. So, I have poured years of time and sleepless passion into completing and publishing this collection of music.
In particular, since there are many sheet music scores without introductions or interludes, it was extremely difficult for me, who is not good at listening to music, to transcribe the sheet music, and to arrange it for the harmonica.

Even if 100 people play the same song, each one will sound different.
Therefore, it would be a good idea to refer to what is shown in this book and add or change the playing technique, or make some arrangements to show your own playing style.
I sincerely hope that this music book will serve as a useful reference for those who love the harmonica.

The only music book in the world with no identical scores

Harmonica sheet music used around the world is in the form of numbered scores, but most of the sheet music available in bookstores in Korea only contains simple melodies, so if you want to play at an intermediate level or higher with harmony, you have to learn it yourself or learn from experts to obtain sheet music.
To this end, I have spent many years preparing to publish this music collection, with the aim of expanding the harmonica base and providing high-quality music scores that can be easily referenced for improving one's level.
This music book, which includes various techniques and chords, will not be easy to learn even if you keep it for a lifetime.

In particular, I arranged classical scores in my own way, such as piano scores played with ten fingers or orchestral scores with numerous instruments playing together to create different scores, while maintaining the melody of the original song and reflecting the maximum expression possible with the harmonica.
Therefore, it is the only music book in the world that has the same scores.

It can take months to arrange a classic piece.
This is because when you play the arranged sheet music, you want to fix it again.
There may be many different opinions about the score of the ensemble.
So, you can refer to the song you arranged yourself, and if you have different ideas, you can add or modify it.
I even took three months to complete one song.
It may be because I am lacking, but I poured so much passion into these songs that I think none of them are unimportant.

If you are unsure after reading this music book, don't worry alone. Find a famous academy or master and learn from them for just a few months. You will see rapid progress.
I had been singing alone for decades, but then I met Chairman Lee Hye-bong and was shocked and learned something new. But I realized that I had been stuck in the same place for so long, like a frog in a well, and I regret it.
Don't be proud. Start by learning and then practice on your own. You will be able to make rapid progress and play impressive performances.
It would be better to use chords appropriately and learn broken chords. After learning the broken chords in this music book, you can modify them in your own way.
Since broken chords vary from player to player, please consider this sheet music as a reference only.
However, since you need sheet music to practice, please try to follow the sheet music booklet first.
