This is the Korean edition of "The Art of Avatar: The Way of Water," a special project planned by DK Publishing, 20th Century Studios, and Lightstorm Entertainment (James Cameron's production company) to coincide with the December 2022 release of "Avatar: The Way of Water."
『Avatar: The Waterway: Artbook』 was created to coincide with the release of [Avatar 2], the first film in 13 years, and is an official guidebook for Avatar fans of all ages.
[Avatar 1] ranked first at the worldwide box office when it was released in 2009, and won the Golden Globe for Best Picture and Best Director in 2010, and the Academy Awards for Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Cinematography.

[Avatar: The Waterfront], which was released after 13 years, had its first worldwide release on December 14, 2022, and became the first foreign film to attract 10 million viewers since the COVID-19 pandemic, and earned approximately $2 billion (KRW 2.614 trillion) worldwide, becoming the third highest-grossing film of all time.
It won the Best Visual Effects Award at the 95th Academy Awards.
James Cameron released the first Avatar film in 2009, and the second Avatar film, Avatar: Path of Water, in December 2022.
