The COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated this trend, bringing about many changes in our society, both known and unknown. While some have successfully adapted, others are struggling due to lack of preparation.
So, although it is a small step, I tried to solve the difficulties I faced one by one through this book.
In particular, we considered the various difficulties faced by teachers in early childhood education fields when applying digital education to early childhood education and attempted to solve them.
First, digital media devices and various apps are designed for adults rather than infants, making them difficult to apply to infants.
This book includes practical examples to make it easy to apply.
Second, the level of readiness for digital devices and technology environments in early childhood education settings varies.
Accordingly, even if teachers try to apply it, it is difficult to do so if digital devices or a wireless internet environment are not available.
Therefore, this book has been designed to enable the application of digital technology to early childhood education settings with as little preparation as possible.
Third, teachers lack prior knowledge of digital technology.
It is even more difficult for people who are not good at using digital devices themselves to apply them to education.
To this end, we first recommended the application to teachers with low efficacy in actual digital technology and included only those that could be applied.
I hope that you will guide the children who will live in the future with the heart of sowing seeds so that they can grow up with the ability to live in the future society.
