Description
Book Introduction
'Single-subject research is a research method designed to prove changes in the behavior of individual subjects. It is a research method that proves the functional relationship between variables by confirming through experimental experience that the subject's behavior changed due to the intervention and not due to other reasons.
This method can be seen as having been developed in response to the need to compensate for the weaknesses of existing group studies, which are insufficient to fully demonstrate changes in target children composed of different groups, and of experiments being conducted over a relatively short period of time, so that evaluations are made before the intervention is even implemented.
Therefore, it is particularly widely applied in clinical settings such as special education or speech therapy, where it is difficult to form a homogeneous large group.

This book is designed to provide practical assistance to graduate students in master's and doctoral programs who must engage in direct research, along with theoretical exploration of research methodology, in addition to the academic and practical aspects of practical application.
The content is divided into three parts: a section to help with basic understanding of single-subject research methodology, observation and research design methodology for conducting direct research, and methodology for analyzing data and writing papers.
In particular, this book provides many examples of experimental research centered on domestic experimental papers, so you will be able to obtain more practical help.
