I'm responsible for my own butt
Description
Book Introduction
*From picture books to fairy tales, a series of independent picture books for reading
*“We support your challenge!” Composed of essential elementary school life topics
A delightful and refreshing coming-of-age story for children beginning their social lives.
From picture books to fairy tales, from reading together to reading alone, we have published the first volume of the picture book series [Thinksing Children] for children in this process.
This series contains essential topics for children who begin their social lives upon entering elementary school.
As children enter elementary school, they face an increasing number of challenges without the help of parents or teachers, and must learn to regulate their emotions and manage their lives on their own.
But it's not easy to shake off the confusion and fear that comes from experiencing something for the first time.
The 'Thinking Kids' series contains the special challenges of these small, yet fierce and vivid children.
It depicts the challenges children first encounter with a cheerful and bright perspective, and provides them with the strength and courage to overcome them on their own through deep empathy.
The main characters in this book struggle, feel fear, and sometimes make mistakes, but ultimately solve their problems in their own way and grow further.
Through these characters, readers will experience the unfamiliar and difficult moments of everyday life, gain the confidence that "I can do it too," and experience the joy of solving problems on their own.
Give this book to children who are becoming independent from their caregivers in many ways: children about to enter elementary school, children just beginning to feel confident in doing things on their own, children who are fearful of the unknown, and more!

Publisher's Review
□ Composed of essential elementary school life topics that support children's challenges
The first volume of the Thinksing children's series, "I Take Responsibility for My Butt," contains the story of twins Chorok and Yeondoo, who have distinct personalities.
The first story, "I'm Responsible for My Butt," comically tells the story of Chorok, a boy who never poops at school due to problems with cleaning up after himself.
Green, who was about to turn into a twisted piglet because of the urgent poop signal, runs to the bathroom and takes a nice dump.
So far so good, but wiping your butt with toilet paper alone is harder than you think.
Cho-rok, who was thinking about asking the teacher for help, eventually made a big decision.
How can we overcome this challenge? Chorok's challenge is a story any child can relate to.
As you go through this process together, you will naturally learn the importance of taking care of and taking responsibility for your own body.
The second story, “How to Pull This Out,” tells the story of Yeondu trying to pull out her loose front tooth without going to the dentist, which unfolds in a humorous way.
You try various methods with your friends, but in difficult situations, you end up pulling it out unexpectedly.
The 'dental fear' that children commonly experience is humorously solved with unique characters and witty settings, evoking empathy that tooth extraction is not always scary or difficult.
□ A cheerful, sitcom-like story, with vivid characters full of personality.
This book thoroughly explores the concerns of children from a child's perspective, and its comical plot and witty dialogue provide a sitcom-like level of enjoyment.
Chorok and Yeondoo are twin siblings who are family and friends, and are characters that children in real life can easily relate to.
The five children, including Podo, Hojun, and Sol-a, who are referred to as the 'Thinking Kids', have serious yet quirky sides that add to the interest of the story.
What makes the story even richer are the illustrations by Chayada.
Soft colors and a warm atmosphere create friendly and lovable characters.
The author's unique humorous expressions and lively gestures were captured and expanded into a cartoon technique.
These drawings allow us to vividly immerse ourselves in the character's emotions and situations.
This series was planned and developed to enable children to learn naturally through a process they can deeply relate to and enjoy. We hope that through this series, they will become "smart children" who can do anything on their own.
