One day, while vacationing at a beach resort, Taki Pooh receives a video call from Mr. Mouse.
Mr. Mouse tells Taki Pooh that another warning has arrived for Question Mark the Phantom Thief and shows him the contents of the warning.
“I will steal stars from the Land of Stars and Stripes and drop new stars for you.” Taki, who deduces that the Land of Stars and Stripes is the United States, which has the American flag as its national flag, immediately leaves for America with Poe.
Arriving in the world's largest city, New York, Taki Poo sets off on an adventure from Times Square, the most glamorous street in the United States and home to Broadway theaters. He then travels to landmarks throughout the United States, including Alaska, where you can see the mysterious Northern Lights, the Corn Belt, a cornfield three times the size of our country, and Hollywood, the city of movies, in search of the whereabouts of the thief Question Mark.
