I started traveling the Alps in earnest in 2022, when we emerged from the coronavirus pandemic.
In fact, I was curious about the growing popularity of tourism in Switzerland, a small country located in the middle of the Alps.
Other countries are clearly in the Alps, so why are we so obsessed with the stereotype of "Switzerland"? I found it hard to agree.
After traveling through the Dolomites, the Italian Alps, and falling in love with the Italian Alps, I decided to travel to other countries bordering the Alps.


I enjoyed the trip, which allowed me to become immersed in nature, walking, flying, and skiing in the Alpine nature, which was different from the Europe we knew, while traveling to the countries of the Alps four times starting in 2022.
That's why I became even more immersed in the Alps journey.
My world expanded as I shared my thoughts and reflected on life with people at my travel destination.
Traveling anywhere in the Alps, surrounded by beauty and empathy with people, made me enjoy a fairytale-like travel experience.

From being such a simple Alpine traveler, I have now traveled deep into Switzerland and even reached the 5 Alpine countries guidebook.
It wasn't something I wanted to happen, but it happened naturally to a large extent.
As expected, you never know what life will bring.


The style of traveling in Europe has changed a lot.
There was a time when people thought that a trip to Europe would be a one-time thing in a lifetime, so in the past, the trend for European travel was to visit many European countries at once.
There was a time when I was busy bragging to my friends about my trip to Europe.
As the 2010s progressed, a trip to Europe became no longer a one-time, distant trip for people.
Naturally, my trip to Europe has become a trip that involves seeing 2 to 4 countries in detail.
As South Koreans struggled with the stifling effects of the coronavirus, they began to enjoy nature-filled trips to the Alps.
In short, it is good to travel while looking back at nature and reflecting on yourself.


In the past, when traveling in Western Europe, I had a strong feeling that I had to imitate and learn from the well-off Western Europeans.
The trip was not just a simple trip, but a trip where you had to learn something.
Nowadays, rather than simply traveling to Europe, people choose European travel destinations based on their interests.
If so, the Alps are a very good choice.
The Alps, which show surprises beyond beauty, can give you a new atmosphere.
