"Three Generations of Railroad Workers" evokes Incheon and Yeongdeungpo as historical sites, focusing on the railroad, a symbol of modernity.
By following the characters' footsteps, we can project our future onto the trajectories of the past and present.
The book consists of three parts and an appendix.
Part 1 is filled with field trip courses with maps.
Based on the Gyeongin Railroad, Incheon's locations were divided into Courses 1 and 2.
Here, I added the Seoul tour course and the Gyeongui Line course from Seoul to Sinuiju, which is currently unavailable.
In the middle of the field trip, we also included ‘Poems about Trains’ (7 poems by Kim Ki-rim, Park Hyeong-jun, Kim Jeong-hwan, Baek Mu-san, etc.).
Part 2 includes two articles written from a literary and mythological perspective on the Three Generations of Railroad Workers.
