Book Introduction
What are the 1,000 Bike Routes Recommended by Roadmaster?

There are countless places to visit in South Korea by bike or car.
Of the tour courses our team has visited so far, there are approximately 2,700 pure tour courses, excluding restaurants and cafes, and there are many more wonderful places to visit.
However, since it is realistically impossible to see all these places in a short period of time while riding a bike as a hobby, we have selected and introduced 1,000 places that we have visited and liked, or that we think are must-see places.

Publisher's Review
“I’m thinking of going on a one-night, two-day tour. Where would be a good place to go?”
“I’ve been to pretty much every place now, so I have nowhere else to go.”

I often hear stories like this around me.
Generally, the most intense riding period after getting started with a bike is the first three to five years, during which most riders diligently pursue famous bike tour destinations and routes.
However, after this period, I often see people complaining that they have nowhere to go and their interest in bikes waning, so they naturally distance themselves from bikes.

“Are there really not many places to ride a bike in South Korea?”

Our answer is 'No'.
The fact that I have nowhere to go may in some ways be proof that the tour sites and routes I know are the only ones.
Even for those of us who have cycled hundreds of thousands of kilometers, there are still countless wonderful tour destinations in Korea that we have yet to visit.
This book was designed to help ease the worries of such riders, and is a comprehensive guide to bike tour destinations and routes worth visiting in South Korea.

“If you don’t know where to go on your bike,
“It’s not that there are no places to travel, it’s just that I don’t know many places.”

This is a beautiful route that can be enjoyed not only by bike, but also by car, bicycle, car camping, and mocam.

The tour courses covered in this book are only those with good road access, so it will serve as a travel guide not only for bike riders but also for general car travelers, cycling enthusiasts, and readers who enjoy car camping or mocamping.
It includes places with beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed by bike, car, bicycle, car camping, or mocamping, places with good views, places with an exotic atmosphere, places where you can enjoy driving on the road, historical and cultural sites, gliding fields with great views in all directions, hermitages and mountain temples hidden in the mountains, seowon and pavilions where the spirits of our ancestors dwell, beautiful rivers and lakes, highland vegetable fields and wind farms, hidden secrets that people don't know about, and areas with beautiful entire regions.

The maps provided in this book will help you navigate your tour route with ease.

Most people use navigation to find tour locations, but we have created a map in advance so that you can be guided to your destination without having to input the destination address into the navigation. If you scan the QR code with your phone, a guide map for that area will be displayed right away.
