Into the book
Everyone carries a burden of tears, words, and sighs.
I live wandering among the stars in the night sky.
If you follow the world created by the poet,
Poetry may be able to soothe our wandering hearts.
Maybe those stars in the night sky will take my sadness away.
--- From the author's note

At that moment, I
Like Newton's apple
He rolled down onto her without hesitation.
With a thud, with a thud
--- Kim In-yuk, from “The Physics of Love”

That day, I was eating a late dinner in front of the TV
I burst into tears
I couldn't stop it, so I just left it.
--- Kwak Hyo-hwan, from "That Day"

I went there to cry
There are days when I can't cry
In the sorrow that came before
My sadness is pushed away
--- Kang Hyun-deok, from “Prayer Room”

Pretending to point fingers at my many lies
It's because of my wife who is going through winter.
Back to back, a thousand miles away
A night when I eavesdrop on the sound of flower buds bursting open
You, sad and brave Cheonrihyang
--- Son Taek-su, from “My Wife’s Name is Cheonrihyang”

Whose star is that, and where is my star?
I stand silently and gaze at the stars.
--- Lee Byeong-gi, from “Star”

In that desert he
I'm so lonely
Sometimes I walked backwards.
To see the footprints left in front of you.
--- Orthungs Blue, from "Desert"

Where is there a flower that blooms without getting wet?
No other shining flower in this world
All wet and wet and blooming
The petals bloomed warmly, drenched in wind and rain.
Where can you live a life that doesn't get wet?
--- Do Jong-hwan, from “Flowers that Bloom While Swaying”

You called to say the moon has risen
This night is so exciting and wonderful
I've never seen this before in my life
The bright moon rises
A small village is drawn at the foot of the mountain.
These earnest longings,
These feelings that come to my office
Carried on the moonlight
I send it to you
--- Kim Yong-taek, from "You Called to Say the Moon Has Risen"

Publisher's Review
101 Easy-to-Write Poems Recommended by Poet Kim Yong-taek

Poet Kim Yong-taek, well known by the nickname ‘Seomjin River Poet’.
In 2001, he introduced “Poetry Came to Me,” a literary genre that had not been widely recognized, and created an opportunity to make poetry more familiar to the public.
He personally read and copied the poems of various writers and carefully selected 101 poems with the hope that readers would also try copying them at least once.

This book includes not only the works of familiar authors like Kim So-wol, Yi Yuk-sa, Yun Dong-ju, and Baek Seok, whom we have encountered in textbooks, but also the poems of influential writers of the time, such as Kim Hye-sun, Lee Seong-bok, and Shin Kyeong-rim, as well as messages from foreign authors, such as Paul Eluard, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Johann Goethe. It also introduces 10 poems by poet Kim Yong-taek, who is loved by readers.
The language of love and joy, daily life and nature, courage and hope conveyed in a total of 101 poems shines even brighter when readers do not simply read the poems but try to write along with each poem.

Emotional Healing Writing Book, read with your hands and engrave it in your heart!

Novelist Shin Kyung-sook said, “The fulfillment I felt while writing was a unique experience that made me realize what I should do with my life.” Poet Ham Min-bok said, “Poetry is the path of the heart.”
The meeting of writing and poetry, praised by writers, took place in the emotional healing writing book.

Now, instead of copying novels or the Bible, let's write beautiful poetry using an emotional healing writing book.
The original text of the poem is on the left page of the book, and the margins with an emotional design are on the right page, making it easy for readers to follow along and easy to carry, all in one volume.

Readers can have the special experience of completing their own world by following the poet's vision of the unfinished world, letter by letter.
Rather than simply transcribing words, the process of reading poetry with one's eyes, writing it with one's hands, and engraving it in one's heart opens the door to empathy and creates a path for communication.
In the process, your wounded emotions may be healed, and you may have time to comfort and console yourself.

A time to listen to your inner voice and find peace of mind.

In Part 1, 'I loved when the leaves bloomed, I loved when the wind blew, I loved when the colors changed,' poets such as Lee Byeong-ryul, Jeong Gyeot-byeol, Lee Moon-jae, and Jacques Prévert reminisce about a time of love that was infinitely happy, but not always sweet.
When I think of someone in my heart and reflect on the joys and pains of love, I become stronger.

On a day when I want to listen to my daily life and inner voice, let's transcribe Part 2, 'I will listen to the song of the wind, a life that has cried and come and cried, and a life that has laughed and come and cried and gone.'
Poets such as Hwang Dong-gyu, Kim Sa-in, and Ki Hyeong-do contemplate the beauty of nature, while at the same time, the difficulties of life that do not always go as planned.
The author's delicate sentences will comfort and embrace the complex and subtle emotions of life.

Sometimes, when you feel tired and have a hard time, try writing Part 3, 'The wind will take me away, the sunlight will divide me, the spring rain will take me away.'
Poets such as Choi Seung-ja, Kim Su-yeong, and Kim So-wol open the way for life by delivering messages of hope and courage.

If you need a moment to catch your breath while living, try writing down Part 4, 'Stop walking, hold your breath, close your eyes.'
Poet Kim Yong-taek's clear and honest poetry awakens our hidden lyricism and brings warmth to our hearts.

As you follow the world the poet has created by writing a total of 101 poems, you will soon find fulfillment and peace within yourself.
