Iruda Life Guide for Slow Learners 1
Description
Book Introduction
Systematic thinking for solving everyday problems

We constantly face problems, big and small, in our daily lives.
The process of thinking about what to choose and how to solve it is repeated.
Most people solve these problems intuitively, but for slow learners, this process can be challenging.
They often have difficulty gathering information, organizing it, and expressing it in an appropriate way to solve a problem.

This book, "Iruda Life Guide for Slow Learners," is a problem-based textbook that teaches students how to solve problems in their daily lives. It was created to help slow learners develop the systematic thinking skills necessary to solve problems.
This book is based on a systematic thinking training process of Input → Elaboration → Output, and is designed to improve logical thinking skills step by step.

Publisher's Review
This book is a textbook for slow learners or students with borderline intelligence developed by the Iruda School Education Research Team.
This book focuses on practical application through three stages of systematic thinking training and bridging training after learning.
This book is even more effective when studied with parents, teachers, therapists, and visiting tutors.

Real-Life Applications and Bridging Training

As slow learners navigate daily life, there are many challenges they must overcome, but when faced with a new situation, their thoughts and bodies often grind to a halt.
Accordingly, we focus on the bridging part after learning, providing specific guidance on how the concepts learned can be applied in real life.

Usage Guide for Parents and Teachers

This book can be studied independently by slow learners, but it is even more effective when studied with parents, special education teachers, therapists, and visiting teachers.
Adult assistance and encouragement play a vital role in helping children learn concepts and apply them to real-life situations.
This book will help parents and teachers develop problem-solving skills in their children and students, enabling them to tackle increasingly challenging problems on their own.

In conclusion

Through "The Iruda Life Guide for Slow Learners," we hope that many slow learners will systematically develop their thinking skills and, furthermore, acquire the ability to independently solve problems in their daily lives.
This book was created based on the experiences of Ms. Ahn Mi-sook, a parent of a graduate of Iruda School, ten teachers from Iruda School's textbook research team, and Iruda's slow learners over the past ten years, dealing with the small and big problems that arise. We hope that this book will be helpful to slow learners, as it is filled with affection and love for them.
We also express our gratitude to Professor Kim Hyo-won of the Department of Pediatric Psychiatry at Seoul Asan Medical Center for his continued support and encouragement of Iruda School's education.
With the publication of the 2021 "Life Planning Skills Enhancement Program for Slow Learners," I would like to express my gratitude to CEO Jeong Jae-hoon of Yunseongsa Publishing for his assistance in publishing this textbook. I hope that our small efforts for slow learners will help open up a better future for them.
