Changgwang Kim Seong-tae is a fortune teller who ‘wanted to become a fortune teller.’
Born into a family of fortune tellers, he began studying fortune telling at an early age and is one of the few fortune tellers who possesses both theoretical and practical skills.

He has an aura that cannot be easily approached, as he examines and explores nature and humanity based on precise and profound thinking.
This is because the inner strength honed over 35 years of walking the path of fortune telling is neatly woven into his body.

This book contains his journey so far.
The stories of his miraculous experiences from his youth, scenes of him traveling with the Garims, and stories about his father, a famous Buddhist monk, recorded in Chapter 1 are hazy and mysterious.
There are some parts that cannot be readily understood with reason and logic, but there are many parts that can be accepted with the heart.

Chapter 2 tells the story of the people and shamans he met while reading fortunes and reciting sutras as a shaman at a shamanic ritual.

Chang-Gwang's own story in Chapter 3 moves between reality and mystery.
He divides himself into “alone” (混自), “mad” (猖狂), and “me” (me), and explores his own world while traveling across the world beyond reality.
By looking at each role, we can infer the current author.
There are many omissions and implications, so at first glance it may seem like a Zen question and answer, but it also exudes the spirit of a master.

Among the many fortune telling methods, I practiced fortune telling and opened a practice, so I am definitely a fortune teller.
I am not the type of person who is swayed by the names that other people call me.
I just do what I love, and I value how I live more than what I become.
I love being a fortune teller, I feel like I've found my right and I'm fulfilling my duties, so I'm happy.

Mysterious divination is a method of fortune telling practiced by those who have received divine revelation.
There are various types of divination, such as takjeom using bells, ironjeom using coins, mijeom using rice, and fanjeom using fans.
These are divination methods that only those who have received the divination can use.

I hear my father chanting sutras behind me.
“My ancestors come out soon, sighs, tears flow… Tears flow like a waterfall, become me, become a river, and flow for ten thousand miles….”
The sound of my father chanting from behind me brings tears to my eyes.
The trash can under the stairs is my walker's testing ground.
I kicked the stone wall garbage dump until it collapsed and my walker was torn apart.
He cried out in anger and kicked the stone wall with his feet.
He entered the shrine with bloodshot eyes.
My father looks at me with bloodshot eyes as if he were watching a fire across the river.


When the husband's ancestors are invited, the Bodhisattva stands up holding his clothes.
Tears are pouring down from my eyes like rain.
‘Boohoohoo...’ The husband and wife hold each other and cry for a long time.
“Sunmi’s father, I think it’s time for me to die.
If I die, will I be able to go to your side?
“I’m sorry, honey! I can’t do anything about you yet.”
What the hell is this?
Even though she was a stepmother, she raised her children with such care…
Then doesn't that mean I can't go back to my husband when I die?
Even the most venomous wizard sheds a tear.
