Book Introduction
Always with us
About the many inspirations of the world

In an age where new ideas are constantly pouring in, there are many ways to find them.
What methods do marketers use to generate new ideas every day? I wonder what thoughts and notes they have in their heads and notebooks.
Marketer Seunghee Lee, who argued in “The Usefulness of Records” that records are tools of thought and assets, has published her second book, “Everything is Inspiration.”

But the title of the book is unusual.
The author says that inspiration comes from 'strange things'.
He says that small records can become inspiration and content, and he encourages readers to collect and record anything.
Through this book, the author proves through his own records that we already live interesting and special lives, that inspiration and ideas are not far from us, and that content is not something to be created, but rather discovered.
It is a prequel to 『The Usefulness of Records』.

Each day passes by and becomes boring.
But if you look back at it after writing it down every day, each day is special.
(…) I think a creator is not someone who creates something completely new.
Anyone who can freely tell their own story and create work from their own ideas is a creator. (Excerpt from the text)

Into the book
Everyone has their own content, they just don't take it out.
By expressing my thoughts in some way, I can make my existence stronger and sharper.
There's no need to explain the joy of seeing my words inspire people who share the same frequency and develop into better ideas.
Daily records also serve as evidence about me.
Each day passes by and becomes boring.
But each day I look back on after recording it is special.
Records create their own language and allow me to express my thoughts and intentions.
In an era where everyone can become a 'creator', the creator I think of is not someone who creates something completely new.
Anyone who can freely tell their own story and create things with their own ideas is a creator, isn't they?
--- From "Starting the Book"

If you don't want to miss out on the inspiration pouring down from the sky every day, you need to have a theme you're currently passionate about.
And we have to look at our daily lives through the eyes of a child and make a fuss.
The more you fuss, the more you can find something shiny.
A person who is excited is someone who knows how to be more moved than others.
People who are curious and easily impressed by everything like a child and those who are not have different levels of inspiration.
Just as something ordinary becomes special when it passes through the eyes and hands of someone who knows how to see it in a special way.
--- From "Where do you get your inspiration?"

A small inspiration note that became the beginning of my record.
I take it out and use it anytime, anywhere, whether in my daily life, while traveling, or at work.
This is why I want to introduce myself as a recorder.
For me, writing is, in a word, a habit of capturing the beginnings of thoughts.
The best thing about records is that they don't have to be complete.
Records are always in progress.
--- From "Records are always in progress"

In the age of COVID-19, we are once again thinking about language and communication.
When having a conversation or discussing ideas in a meeting, you realize how important it is to express your thoughts and feelings through gestures, hand gestures, facial expressions, eye contact, and posture rather than words.
Observe the subtle facial expressions and changes in the other person's voice to develop rapport and develop the conversation.
Perhaps nonverbal expressions carry a much greater weight than verbal expressions in our conversations.
In an era where "non-face-to-face" is the norm, whether we like it or not, we must consider the possibilities of new conversations.
--- From "What I Learned in the COVID-19 Era"

Every time I see an exhibition, I get the feeling that the artists are fiercely exploring themselves.
The process of finding my true self is to deeply look into and question the countless conflicting, dual emotions within me.
If you constantly clash, ask questions, and answer, you can live without getting bored.
It is a privilege for all of us.
We are all artists.
--- From "Constantly Collide, Constantly Question"

Finding inspiration is also an essential part of a marketer's job.
For marketers, inspiration is the source of work and life.
This is why I say that the best way to utilize inspiration is to observe where consumers spend, what they do, and what moves them, and to continuously capture those moments, and to consistently collect anything.
--- From "Where and how do I use the inspiration I've collected?"

Publisher's Review
There is nothing in the world that makes you want to close your eyes tightly.
There are so many things I want to tell you.

When it comes to records, I think I have to write down things that I have to remember or have something meaningful for a long time.
It's burdensome to start and puts a lot of pressure on your shoulders.
But the author says, 'You can just collect whatever you want.'
In fact, “Everything is Inspiration” contains the author’s daily records from his head, smartphone, notes, and SNS.
In addition to the author's own writings and photos, there are also impressive photos and writings taken from friends and colleagues' social media, as well as records of minor situations and scenes.
These notes from the actual author have developed into useful ideas and plans for customers.

We record what people see and where they go, and then develop the inspiration into planning ideas or marketing plans that fit our brand.
Whenever I see the recent trend of collaborations, I take note of the partners who are a good fit for my brand.
(…) One way to utilize the inspiration that comes from information is to pay close attention to the values and messages pursued by people living in the same era and gradually put them into practice. (From the text)
One of the advantages of keeping a journal, the author says, is that it allows you to discover 'what you really like.'
It means that you no longer have to compare yourself to others and live an unhappy life.
The author's record, which he started when he was a freshman in society and wanted to do well at work, led him into the world of marketing.
The author confesses that through writing, he has been able to bring joy to people and confidently introduce the things he likes.
The author currently communicates with people through various occupations, including as a marketer, club leader of Do Nothing Club, Instagrammer, YouTuber, and writer.

We are already having a brilliant day.
I just can't take it out and show it confidently

Collecting memories and stories from each day can feel overwhelming.
Well then, let's first read the author's notes.
You will feel confident when you think, ‘I even recorded this!’
And as you follow the author's thoughts and experiences about records scattered throughout the book, you will feel the desire and motivation to give it a try.

The records that started with active observation taught me what was good and gave me the joy of sharing good things with others.
Thank you to everyone who was there to record, to emulate, and to everyone who listened to my voice.
I want to be that kind of person to someone too. (From the text)

The author hopes that through this book, he will be more widely known as a 'recorder'.
I hope that through recording, which is an 'easier but more meaningful action' than expected, other record-keeping people will emerge.
If you ever find yourself unsure of who you are or what you like, or if you want to find meaning in your free days, I recommend this book.
You will gain the courage to confidently share your stories and thoughts with others.
