Anyway, entertainment
Description
Book Introduction
'The world that created me, the world that I created', anyway, the twenty-third story in the series is a variety show.
Bok-gil, who is well known on Twitter as an 'avid viewer of Korean broadcasting', chose entertainment as the topic of the show.
As a story that contains the theme of entertainment that is both fun and touching, the book is filled with laughter that goes back and forth between giggles, snickers, heuk heuk, and croaks.
And, as a maniac who suffered from 'TV addiction' to the point of needing a detox, he persistently recorded commentary on Korean entertainment shows and entertainers.
"Anyway, Entertainment" contains honest stories that cover the world of TV, which cannot be 'real', and the real world in which the author has lived and is living.
And it is also a persistent commentary on Korean entertainment and entertainers, recording why I, a maniac who suffered from 'TV addiction' to the point of needing a detox, wanted to cry and eventually turn away while watching a show that was made to make people laugh.

To my television
Into the book
Watching TV and making TV were both dreams that could only be realized by going to Seoul, and it was important not to feel the minor feeling of being 'pushed' to the countryside.
The streets I walked were to be featured on entertainment programs and dramas tonight, and I should be able to walk the places the people on TV walked when I open my eyes tomorrow morning.
I wish the connection between the world on television and my world was a little closer.
But no matter how much I thought about it, the things that seemed interesting were only happening in Seoul.
--- p.32~33
I grew up with Infinite Challenge throughout my teens and twenties.
I vowed to myself that I would become a famous person like producer Kim Tae-ho, and I loved “Infinite Challenge” so much that I didn’t even make plans on Saturday nights.
Although, at the end, I didn't care who came out or what they did.
The death of "Infinite Challenge" was surprising and sad, but somehow welcome.
--- p.95
Lee Kyung-kyu is the face and father of Korean television, the one that has dominated my life.
So, looking at his face is often difficult and challenging, just like looking at our father's face.
Will he be a wonderful father to me, growing old without losing his sense of humor?
Or is he just a father armed with the ability to be insensitive to someone's criticism while still maintaining his power, and the ability to become increasingly shameless even when called an old fart?
--- p.141
It seems like every conversation or expression can now be replaced with a clip from a Korean entertainment show.
These days, there are many times when I suddenly feel like crying even when I'm just sitting still. In those cases, it's more accurate to say, "I want to cry like Kim Young-cheol, who imitates Kang Bu-ja's voice."
I feel like I'll feel better only if I cry so hard, beat my chest, and let out my sobs.
--- p.185
Park Mi-seon's mouth is always the same and unchanging.
But his eyes, always large and frightened, now began to stare at a precise spot, and I began to expect that they would soon be the eyes of my mother, me, and my daughter.
--- p.195
Strictly speaking, Kim Sook did not ride the wind.
It is close to the person who started the wind.
Mr. Ahn of 'Slam Dunk' evaluates senior An Gyeong as a player who supported the foundation of Buk-san along with Chae Chi-su.
Kim Sook is Song Eun-i's partner who pioneered the world through programs such as "Secret Guarantee," "Sister's Radio," and "Receipt," and as a female broadcaster, she is a strong supporter and advocate who has firmly established that world by speaking with the boldest and most definitive voice at the forefront.

Publisher's Review
For those who lived through the time between the birth and cancellation of "Infinite Challenge," for those who are accustomed to everything important being revealed after 60 seconds, for those who end their days watching people who live alone in the mountains and eat three meals a day by the sea, is there any TV genre as familiar as entertainment?
Is there any other genre besides entertainment where everything important in life becomes an item, whether it's dating, marriage, childcare, school, housing, cooking, exercise, studying, or dreams?
Bok-gil, known on Twitter as an avid viewer of Korean broadcasting, chose entertainment as his topic.
As a story that contains the theme of entertainment that is both fun and touching, the book is filled with laughter that goes back and forth between giggles, chuckles, and groans.
The life of a local teenager who felt like he was trapped in a waterless fishbowl, the time he chose to live in seclusion because he was tired of the obsession with being pretty, the college days when the greeting “How are you?” was hung up in schools across the country, and why his father keeps telling him to become a natural person…
