Non-literature reading comprehension: Studying three passages a day (2026)
Description
Book Introduction
“Mae3bi is not just a simple textbook.
Mae3bi is a self-directed learning system optimized for the CSAT.
The reason why Mae3bi was able to establish itself as a steady seller is
Because it pays off with results.”
The 2027 Mae3bi (Non-literature reading CSAT past exam questions where you study 3 passages a day) for the CSAT Korean language section was created by reflecting all of the 2026 CSAT conducted in 2025 and the mock exams in June and September. It was specially structured so that you can focus on training weak subjects, and you can train by subject (humanities, social studies, science, etc.) as well as by detailed area (philosophy, economics, law, etc.).
This year's 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) Korean language section was also difficult in non-literature sections. It took a long time to understand the passages in humanities (philosophy), science and technology, and social studies (law), and I even missed easy questions because I couldn't understand the passages.
Accordingly, in the 2027 Mae3bi, reading comprehension training by subject matter was strengthened. For students who have particular difficulty reading non-literature texts, all texts were summarized paragraph by paragraph to enable reading comprehension training that improves reading comprehension. In addition, more weight was placed on philosophy and law texts that students particularly find difficult, to help them build confidence in non-literature.
As a result of analyzing the recent CSAT and sample questions for the 2028 CSAT, the bible was the CSAT exam and mock exams given by the CSAT test-providing agency in June and September for third-year high school students, not only for the 2027 CSAT Korean language section but also for the 2028 CSAT Korean language section.
The important thing is that just because a problem is good doesn't mean your grades will go up just by solving the problems.
In the case of the Korean language, a ‘proper’ study method is especially important.
To properly study Korean, refer to the appendix of the special volume of “Mae3bi” titled “Mae3 Study Method.” This will help you diagnose your weak areas and even provide solutions.
In fact, 'Mae3' is a program that was created by incorporating 'the right way to study'.
If you study by following the study method emphasized in “Mae3bi,” you will change your study habits not only in the non-literature reading section but also in other areas.
〈Mae3bi〉 is a study method that reduces mistakes even among top students.
〈Mae3bi〉 is not simply a collection of past exam questions.
Even though they are all the same past exam questions, we have organized it by combining the most effective study methods while studying three passages a day so that you can study and train properly, and we have specially edited it to allow for review methods, grading methods, and even time management.
This is because the learning effect of past exam questions varies greatly depending on how you study them.
〈Mae3bi〉 ‘Clinic Commentary’ is not a typical answer commentary.
The author has been answering students' questions directly, explaining why the answer sheets that students frequently answered incorrectly were incorrect, what they did not know, what they missed and what they got wrong, and even what they absolutely must remember to prepare for the Korean language section of the CSAT.
In addition, we have upgraded the commentary to include a paragraph-by-paragraph summary of all texts, enabling proper reading comprehension training. In particular, we have refined and re-refined difficult texts and problems from the student's perspective, thereby enhancing learning effectiveness.
It is designed to address both the 'summary training' that develops reading comprehension, which is the key to high scores in the Korean language section, and the 'vocabulary' that is an obstacle to improving reading comprehension.
