40-Minute Study Habits for a Rich Vacation

Korea's representative elementary school vacation textbook, 'EBS Elementary Winter Vacation Life (hereinafter referred to as Vacation Life),' was published on the 1st.
We guide students through a fulfilling vacation with fun learning comics, a variety of creative experiential activities, and essential curriculum-related problems that must be remembered.

The vacation life focuses on helping students maintain their interest in studying during the vacation period, when they can easily become lax, and continue studying at a level that is not burdensome every day.
Students in grades 1-4 who have not yet established study habits can build basic academic skills by exploring interesting topics for about 40 minutes a day and reviewing what they learned in the previous semester.


The textbook contains 10 carefully selected topics for each grade level.
Current teachers with extensive experience developing educational content selected topics that naturally connect with the 2022 revised curriculum, wrote the book, and even drew illustrations.
To keep readers from getting bored, we cover a wide range of topics, including nature, culture, exploration, and safety.
We guide children to connect knowledge about delivery services, advertising, climate change, and diseases, which have become part of their daily lives, to real-life situations.
And at the end of each lecture, we included activity sheets and curriculum-related problems for students to practice and practice what they learned.

Video lectures are available via TV and the Internet.
Each lecture is approximately 15 minutes long, covering key content and areas requiring additional explanation, allowing for focused study. The series airs every Monday and Tuesday from January 5th to February 3rd on EBS Plus 2 and every Saturday on EBS 2TV. It can be viewed for free anytime on the EBS website and YouTube.

An EBS official said, “We did our best to create content that lets children who are just starting to study know that studying can be fun,” and added, “It is a proven textbook that has sold about 16 million copies over the past 30 years, so we hope you will use it as a textbook for Neulbom School or for vacation homework.”
