중에서\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e‘골동(骨董)’이란 중국말인 것은 물론, ‘고동(古董)’이라고도 하는데 실은 ‘고동(古銅)’의 음전(音轉)이라 한다.\u003cbr\u003e음편(音便)을 따라 뻔쩍하면 딴 자(字)를 임의로 끌어다 맞추고, ‘무엇은 무엇으로 통한다’ 식의 한문의 악습은 이 ‘고동(古銅)’에도 미쳐버렸다.\u003cbr\u003e‘고(古)’ 자는 추사(秋史)같은 이도 얼마나 즐기어 쓴 여운 그윽한 글자임에 반해, ‘골(骨)’ 자란 얼마나 화장장에서나 추릴 수 있을 것 같은, 앙상한 죽음의 글자인가! 고완품들이 ‘골동’, ‘골’ 자로 불리워지기 때문에 그들의 생명감이 얼마나 삭탈을 당하는지 모를 것이다.\u003cbr\u003e말이란 대중의 소유라
