"Korean Culture Class Recipe for Foreigners" is organized around real-life examples and educational significance of teaching Korean and introducing Korean culture to foreign learners as a Korean language educator.
Based on field experience in foreign classrooms, this book systematically presents a diverse and creative curriculum focused on Korean culture, which can be utilized in classes on Korean language, culture, and multicultural education.
Just like a full course where you can prepare the ingredients for a delicious dish, make it, and enjoy the carefully finished dish, we wanted to convey the moments of the class as they were through various Korean culture class recipes and class activity stories.
Korean culture class activities were divided into offline and online sections, and the process of preparing and designing classes and the actual class activities were shown, focusing on examples from each culture class.
And in the class recipe reels, we looked at the significance of class activities, and in the class activity blog, we reflected on the class by looking back on what we learned and felt through the episodes.
We hope that the various examples of Korean culture class activities presented here will be helpful for Korean language educators preparing Korean language education activities in sharing their lessons and utilizing them for educational purposes.
