“Sejong Korean Culture” is a cultural textbook developed to help learners understand and learn about Korea and Korean culture according to their Korean language ability, based on the cultural topics covered in “Sejong Korean.” This allows them to gain an overall understanding of the culture necessary for learning Korean.
“Sejong Korean Culture 2” follows “Sejong Korean Culture 1” and uses the eight Korean culture topics presented in “Sejong Korean 3, 4” as the main theme of each unit. It presents the basic content of each cultural topic in an easy-to-understand manner and supplements and expands the cultural content through interesting detailed topics and activities, enabling learners to gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture.
“Sejong Korean Culture 2” is a textbook developed to allow Korean language learners to experience and compare Korean culture and Chinese characters from various perspectives. Through this comparative and experiential learning, it is a customized textbook that naturally increases understanding of Korea and helps build cultural background knowledge necessary for learning Korean.
The content is organized so that it can be utilized in institutions other than Sejong Institute and regular educational institutions, and can be used as a cultural textbook as well as a self-study textbook for learners who want to understand Korean culture more easily.
