Open Korean Introduction
Description
Book Introduction
The Introduction section of the Open Korean Language Introduction book provides an easy-to-understand explanation of King Sejong, the creator of Hangeul, and the principles of its creation, using interesting illustrations. The text is divided into four sections.
In each unit of each course, the stroke order, pronunciation, and syllable composition of the Korean letters to be learned are presented in the 〈point〉.
In 〈Practice / Activity〉, students learn Hangul through various types of practice problems and activities such as writing according to stroke order, reading, listening and choosing the answer, and listening and writing. In 〈Self-Checking / Review〉, students can check the learning content of the unit themselves and review problems before learning a new unit.
Additionally, the appendix at the end of the text is designed to allow students to learn Korean language through various activities after learning the Korean alphabet and before starting to learn Korean in earnest.
