Book Introduction
“It’s already been 10 years since I first came to the Philippines and fell in love with the Filipino language.
Thanks to that, I ended up marrying a Filipina woman, so I think I must have had a special connection with the Philippines in my past life.
After getting married and living in the Philippines, I moved to Korea and watched my wife struggle to learn Korean to adapt to life there. This gave me the idea to create a Korean grammar textbook in Filipino.
Over the years, I've written books one by one, starting with a Filipino grammar textbook for Koreans, and finally, a Korean textbook for Filipinos. This gives me a sense of pride that I've fulfilled my calling, both for Koreans who need to learn Filipino and for Filipinos who need to learn Korean.
This textbook is a grammar-focused textbook for Filipinos who want to learn Korean systematically.
I think that with this level of content, a Filipino person alone will be able to study Korean from the basics.
And I would like to add that many of the contents that were lacking in the first edition have been supplemented.” - From the author’s note
