The "New Yonsei Korean Series" consists of six levels, each with textbooks for vocabulary and grammar, speaking and writing, listening and reading.
The vocabulary and grammar textbooks are designed to focus on understanding and utilizing the key vocabulary and grammar that Korean language learners must master at each proficiency level, while the speaking and writing textbooks are designed to focus on speaking and writing tasks to enable students to perform the expressive skills essential for smooth Korean communication.
Additionally, the listening and reading textbooks are designed to foster comprehension skills appropriate to the proficiency level of each level, focusing on reading and listening tasks.
These three textbooks can be used together as a package to promote balanced development of vocabulary, grammar, expression, and comprehension skills, or they can be used separately depending on educational conditions or learner needs.
Additionally, separate guidelines for vocabulary and grammar textbooks will be provided, which could serve as a useful guide for Korean language teachers at home and abroad who lack teaching experience.
