Book Introduction
The short-term Korean language textbook series 『I Love Korean』, developed by the Language Education Institute of Seoul National University for approximately 60 hours, was developed to help adult learners who wish to improve their Korean communication skills acquire basic Korean language skills in a short period of time.
The Chinese section provides Chinese translations of all instructions, new words, and text presented in the textbook, making it easier for learners in that language group to understand.
Additionally, by providing detailed explanations of grammar in both Korean and Chinese, it is designed to be helpful not only to learners but also to teachers who teach Korean.

Publisher's Review
First, the curriculum was established based on the international standard Korean language curriculum and reflects recent socio-cultural changes.


Second, based on a subject- and function-centered syllabus, we included practical problem-solving situations used in everyday life to ensure that the course content could be transferred to real life.

Third, each unit is divided into two sections, designed to allow for sufficient in-depth practice of various skills on one topic.
Each course is designed to take 3 to 4 hours.


Fourth, as an introductory step to each subject, topic vocabulary was presented along with situational pictures to enable systematic and effective vocabulary learning.
This allows learners to infer what they will learn and prepare for learning.

Fifth, we provide ample meaningful practice to ensure that grammar learning goes beyond simply accumulating language knowledge and allows students to master and utilize the functions of the grammar.


Sixth, we have provided functional exercises to help students improve all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—evenly. We have also provided integrated functional exercises to ensure that oral and written language learning can be closely linked from the beginner level.

Seventh, all instructions, new words, and text presented in the textbook have been translated into Chinese to ensure easy understanding by learners from that language group.
Additionally, by providing detailed explanations of grammar in both Korean and Chinese, we hope to help not only learners but also teachers of Korean.
