Publisher's Review
OK Korean 1 Workbook is a supplementary textbook for OK Korean 1 developed by the Catholic University of Korea Korean Language Education Center, and was developed to practice and review the main textbook.
This book focuses on enabling students to more accurately utilize the vocabulary, grammar, and expressions learned in the main textbook, and is designed to facilitate self-practice.
Each subject is structured into functional exercises to allow for integrated practice of what has been learned.
ㆍ Vocabulary Practice: This consists of various review activities to help students understand and use the vocabulary learned in the main textbook more accurately.
ㆍ Grammar and Expression Practice The main textbook's 'Practice' section is designed to help learners more accurately understand the form and meaning of grammar by reviewing the speaking activities through writing activities in each unit.
ㆍ Reading and Writing It is designed to strengthen functional language skills through reading and writing that expands on the topics and situations of the main textbook.
ㆍ At the end of each of the four review writing tasks, a writing assignment (writing on manuscript paper) was assigned for the review task.
After going through the pre-writing stage using the main textbook during class time, you can perform the writing stage in the Workbook.
By consistently practicing writing on a topic using a combination of learned expressions, you can prepare for the TOPIK writing test.
ㆍ Except for writing the correct answer, the correct answer and model answer for each area of practice are provided so that learners can check and evaluate themselves.
There was encouragement and help from many people before this book was published.
I would like to express my gratitude to Professor Kim Jae-cheol, Director of the Catholic University of Korea Korean Language Education Center, who spared no effort in providing full support until the textbook was published; Professor Bae Joo-chae, former Director of the Korean Language Education Center, who provided support in many ways from the planning of the Korean language education curriculum to writing, review, and publication; and Professor Choi Yun-gon, a researcher specializing in the Catholic University of Korea Korean Language Education Center, who took an interest in and assisted with the writing and testing of the textbook, as well as all the other teachers.
We also extend our gratitude to students Kim Seon-gu and Wang Jimin, who enriched the textbook with their vivid and unique illustrations.
And I would like to express my gratitude to Korean Cultural History for its great help in publishing this book.
