Korean with Hantongi is a textbook designed to help you study Korean using the smartphone application 'Hantongi'.
'Hantongi' is a free application that provides translation services in 11 languages, including English, Japanese, Russian, and Thai, as a result of interdisciplinary research supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
It can accept various input forms such as photos and voices, analyzes the meaning of sentences and suggests the closest meaning among the various meanings of words, and analyzes sentences by morpheme, so even beginner learners can use it easily.
It is also linked to the Korean Basic Learning Dictionary developed by the National Institute of the Korean Language, so you can access various meanings and example sentences of words.
The words included in this textbook correspond to the beginner level of the International Standard Model for Korean Language Education.
However, we tried to include vocabulary that is not often found in existing beginner textbooks but is frequently used in real life.
We created this textbook to be especially helpful to foreigners who have immigrated to Korea.
