Book Introduction
This book is the Japanese version of 『Open Korean Introduction』, and is intended to help Japanese-speaking learners of Korean understand the language more easily.
Looking at the content structure, the Introduction section explains King Sejong, the creator of Hangeul, and the principles of Hangeul's creation in an easy-to-understand manner with interesting illustrations, and the main text is comprised of a total of four sections.
In the 〈point〉 section of each lesson, the stroke order, pronunciation, and syllable composition of the Korean alphabet to be learned are presented to help students understand the principles of the Korean alphabet. In 〈Practice / Activity〉, students learn the Korean alphabet through various types of practice problems and activities such as writing according to the stroke order, reading, listening and choosing the answer, and listening and writing.
In 〈Self-Checking / Review〉, you can check your improved Korean language skills by providing items for self-checking the learning content of the unit and review problems before learning a new unit. In addition, the 〈Appendix〉 included at the end of the text is structured so that you can come into contact with topic-specific vocabulary through various activities before learning Korean in earnest after learning the Korean alphabet.
