We analyze the communication problems and aspects that English-speaking Korean learners encounter in conversations with native Korean speakers.
Having taught Korean for 15 years at Yonsei University's Language Research and Education Center, I have been studying and analyzing the problems that arise in communication between speakers from different cultural backgrounds.
This will be a useful resource for understanding and explaining, from a pragmatic perspective, the communication problems that English learners encounter in conversations with native Korean speakers.
