Hanyang University's General Korean Language Education Committee, responsible for university general education, has developed new and effective teaching materials and strived to develop and implement Korean language teaching methods that are truly in keeping with Korean culture in a changing world.
During the development of this textbook, we established specific directions for international students to practically improve their Korean language skills, as well as to develop creative thinking skills suited to the new world.
First, we further strengthened the creative thinking training process by explaining Korean language education in speaking, writing, and reading material stages.
We have activated introductory activities, individual activities, and group activities in appropriate places.


In particular, we have carefully selected Korean proverbs and famous quotes that consistently fit the zeitgeist demanded by a future-oriented Korean society and included them as reading materials.
This textbook was designed to enable students to speak and write in Korean creatively and logically, while engaging in genuine communication with Koreans based on Korean culture.
Although the training process for developing Korean language skills may present challenges, we hope that our international students will gain a high level of general knowledge and develop creative communication skills through classes utilizing this textbook.
