Finding Korean Vocabulary for College Majors for Foreigners 1
Finding Korean Vocabulary for College Majors for Foreigners 1
Description
Book Introduction
The number of international students seeking academic admission to domestic universities and graduate schools has been steadily increasing. As of 2022, approximately 170,000 international students are studying abroad at various higher education institutions (universities), including technical colleges.
Therefore, the importance of specialized vocabulary is gradually increasing.
However, university-affiliated Korean language education institutions that primarily teach general-purpose Korean language often do not focus on specialized vocabulary, so prospective international students preparing to enroll or current international students often complain about the difficulty of studying specialized subjects.
Additionally, since the meaning and usage of the same vocabulary differ depending on the major, students' demand for learning vocabulary related to their major is increasing.
This textbook is designed to help foreign learners systematically learn through the meanings of specialized vocabulary, example sentences, practice problems, and additional learning materials.
Additionally, to enhance the completeness of learning, we have included “Daily Learning Check” so that students can check their own progress and learn autonomously and interestingly.
I hope that this book will be of great help to international students in successfully completing their major courses by learning specialized vocabulary step by step.
