Introduction

By presenting photos related to the topic of the unit, we helped students understand the unit, and by asking questions about the content of the photos and about individual learners, we helped students become more interested in learning.

Vocabulary and expressions

Vocabulary and expressions related to the topic of each unit are categorized and presented with photos or drawings.

Grammar learning was designed to foster communication skills by selecting grammar that is more appropriate for the topic and function of each unit.
We helped students understand by presenting related illustrations along with natural pairs of dialogue, and we encouraged them to use the learned grammar through meaningful practice along with simple response exercises.

Dialogue

We have created dialogues using the vocabulary and grammar learned in the previous section to make them easy to use in real-life situations.
Meanwhile, the dialogue is provided with recorded material so that you can practice repeatedly on your own.


Conversation practice

We tried to restructure the conversation by changing the key vocabulary and expressions presented in the dialogue.
Additionally, simple task activities were presented to improve the communication skills shown in the dialogue.

Let's listen and talk

In Let's Listen and Speak 1 and 2, we present two real-life conversations to help you develop your ability to understand Korean conversations.
The pre-listening stage consisted of introductory questions to activate the schema, and after listening to the conversation, understanding of the content was checked and speaking activities related to the content were carried out.

Let's read and write

Reading activities were conducted by presenting texts of various genres that can be encountered in real life.
In the pre-reading stage, introductory questions were asked to activate the schema, and after reading, understanding of the content was checked and related writing activities were conducted according to the genre.


Let's do it together

Based on what was learned in the previous class, integrated activities were conducted through games, role-playing, presentations, and discussions.

Features of Hanyang Korean 2

1) The vocabulary, expressions, and grammar necessary for communicating in Korean are organized in a way that allows them to be used in real life, linked to their functions.
2) In the activity, speaking activities such as listening and speaking, reading and speaking were emphasized.
Additionally, we have made classroom lessons more dynamic through various activities.
3) We developed a workbook to enable self-study at home as well as in the classroom, and to improve writing skills through writing.

4) Activity sheets were created to make it easy to carry out activities in the classroom.
