Every year, international students who graduate from Kyung Hee University's Language Education Center advance to domestic universities with excellent grades.
The curriculum was reorganized to allow students to obtain a Level 5 score on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) by completing four levels from Beginner 1 to Intermediate 2, and it can be said that this was a successful outcome.
Although it has only been five years since the Korean language textbooks of the Language Education Institute were first published, we have published a new series of textbooks to meet the changing educational environment and reflect the revised educational content.


What makes this textbook stand out from the existing textbooks is the addition of online learning through a blended learning system that incorporates IT technology.
We developed a system that allows Korean language education to be conducted on computers and mobile devices to provide a more learner-centered approach to education.
The learning environment and Korean language teachers have been systematized to closely monitor and improve the learning status of Korean language learners.


Kyung Hee University's Korean language textbook series is divided into five levels: Beginner (1, 2), Intermediate (1, 2), and Advanced, and is aimed at academic learners.
It is an integrated textbook that integrates Korean vocabulary, grammar and expressions, and language functions (speaking/listening/reading/writing).

It was developed as a textbook that reflects the 『International Standard Model for Korean Language Education』, 『Development of Vocabulary Contents for Korean Language Education (Stages 1-4)』, 『Development of Grammar and Expression Contents for Korean Language Education (Stages 1-4)』, and the revised Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) published by the National Institute of the Korean Language.
The more effort put into maintaining learners' motivation and interest through task performance rather than simple repetitive practice, the more effort was put into it.
