Let's Learn Korean Alphabet Hangul with King Sejong the Great
Description
Book Introduction
This book is a Korean language textbook that allows foreigners to easily learn Hangul while accurately understanding the principles of the creation of Hunminjeongeum.
The characteristic of this Korean language learning textbook is that it is different from existing textbooks in that it teaches consonants in the order of 'ㄱㅋㄴㄷㅌㄹㅁㅂㅍㅅㅈㅊㅇㅎ' and vowels in the order of ㅡㅣㅗㅜㅏㅓㅛㅠㅑㅕ, according to the principles of the creation of Hunminjeongeum.
The reason we are learning Hangul in the order of ‘ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅ’ is not because we are following the ‘Hunminjeongeum’ published in 1446.
This is because in Hunmongjahoe, a Chinese character textbook for children published by Choi Se-jin in 1527, the consonants used for both the initial and final consonants were presented first as ‘ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅㅇ’, and the order was fixed as it was.
Therefore, this textbook aims to enable students to learn Hangeul, the world's best scientific writing system, quickly and easily, just as King Sejong intended when he created Hunminjeongeum.
This book is a Hangeul workbook that allows foreigners to easily learn Hangeul while accurately understanding the principles of creation of Hunminjeongeum, Yin-Yang and the Five Elements.
The characteristic of this Hangeul learning workbook is that the consonants and the vowels can be learned according to the principles, in the order 'ㄱㅋㄴㄷㅌㄹㅁㅂㅍㅅㅈㅊㅇㅎ' and ㅡ l ㅗ ㅏ ㅜ ㅓ ㅛ ㅑㅠ ㅕ, which is a big difference from the other workbooks.
The fact that we now learn Hangeul in the order of 'ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅ' does not follow the Hunminjeongeum published in 1446 but does Hunmongjahoe, a Chinese character study book for children published by Choi Se-jin in 1527 in which the consonants used in both initial and final consonants were first presented as ‘ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅㅇ’.
Therefore, this textbook aims to learn Hangeul as King Sejong the Great intended when he created Hunminjeongeum, allowing you to learn Hangeul, the world's best scientific writing system, easily and quickly.
