Book Introduction
The “Darakwon Korean Language Learning Library” series is a Korean reading textbook that reconstructs representative Korean literary works to suit the level of learners from beginner to advanced (A1~C2). The fifth installment in this series, "Simcheongjeon," is an adaptation of a classic Korean novel beloved by Koreans. Through the story of Simcheong, who sacrificed herself to restore her father's sight, readers can naturally learn advanced essential vocabulary and expressions while thinking about what true filial piety is. Additionally, you can understand the culture of the time through explanations related to the historical background.
