This dictionary is based on the 『Standard Korean Dictionary』, 『Our Language Sample』, and 『Basic Korean Dictionary』 published by the National Institute of the Korean Language, which oversees language policy and research in the Republic of Korea.
This dictionary is the culmination of a collaboration between the EDU-WORLD dictionary team, a pioneer in electronic content in Korea, and a team of professors from the Department of Korean Language at Peking University.

It is a dictionary of a new paradigm.

This dictionary adopts the 『Ssanghae (雙解, Bilingual System, multilingual interpretation)』 method, which implements “Korean headword + Korean definition + Chinese definition,” which is an ideal system for learning Korean.
The twin [multilingual interpretation] method is a systematic and scientific system designed to organically recognize the connection between the meanings of Korean and Chinese languages.
