“Someone’s daughter, wife, and mother,
“The story of one person who will be with us all”

A hot topic instatoon with 5 million cumulative likes and a flood of friend-requesting comments.

The hot topic of Instatoon, which receives a lot of likes and friend-calling comments for every episode it uploads, a parenting cartoon but for some reason a lot of single people read it, a cartoon that everyone says is their story, an Instatoon with 100,000 followers laughing and crying together and sending countless cheers, 『Perhaps Everyone's Story』 has finally been published as a book.

This comic, which deals with pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare while also deeply reflecting the concerns of "I'm still awkward as a mother," is Amoi's first single-volume work. It warmly and lively depicts the time from pregnancy and childbirth, which had to be endured alone, to the time when the whole family participates in childcare and creates a new family structure.

In 'Part 1: Similar but Unique Pregnancy and Childbirth', the story of entering a completely different world while planning a pregnancy with her husband is told.
You've been trying to have a baby and finally got pregnant, but the reality is different from what you imagined, and it's full of difficult things like fighting morning sickness, hormonal depression, and unintentional burping.
In Part 2, “Becoming a Happy Mother, Daughter, and Me,” as she begins to take the path of full-fledged parenting, she feels a sense of disconnect with the way she is becoming a mother.
It contains the struggles of accepting the 'me who has become a mother' while missing my past self and finding ways to be happy both as a mother and as myself.
In 'Part 3: That's How We Become a Family', the husband and his parents, who are now raising children together, each have new names such as Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa, and their relationship with each other changes.

As I turn the pages, I find myself thinking of someone's daughter, wife, and mother who is always by my side, and I also find myself reflecting on her.
Raising a child is a constant struggle and resignation, but families gradually come to understand each other better, and the contradictory emotions they face in the process are looked at with a new, affectionate gaze.
Ultimately, this book is a very warm family comic that becomes everyone's story, just like the title suggests.

Publisher's Review
The place we followed the baby to
It was a strange country, difficult but happy.
A whirlwind parenting adventure in a world filled with formula and nursery rhymes.

Amoi's ordinary (but(?) pleasant) daily life, where she enjoys meeting friends and going to karaoke, drinking beer with her husband at the end of the day, taking a walk, or boiling and eating three Jjapaghetti, changed overnight.
Just by giving birth to a baby, the world around Amoi changed.
There, her title became 'New Spring Mom', and the situation had to change from moment to moment depending on the baby's condition that day rather than following the plan made in the morning.
The latest pop songs I used to listen to while driving with my husband have stopped, and I've been listening to the same nursery rhymes for hours, and my clothes are covered in baby drool and formula.

"Perhaps Everyone's Story" is a story about the adventures of a family whose world changed completely because of one small person.
In particular, unlike existing parenting cartoons, this book focuses on the growing pains of parents and grandparents who become another form of family through their baby.
Even though Amoi is a mother, she still cries, "Mom!"; her husband cries because he can't give up his favorite hip-hop; and the grandfather reflects on his own inadequate parenting skills while taking care of his grandchild. The film is filled with the awkwardness of the family.
Seeing that kind of thing makes me realize that even parenting, which seems like something that should not fail, is something that people do.
This book says that everyone was once a child, that parenting is a first for everyone, and that it is natural to struggle to accept the title of "parent." However, it also says that the process of people who come together to "raise children" growing up is difficult, but loving and touching.
『Perhaps Everyone's Story』 contains traces of deep reflection on these ambivalent feelings.
And that trace led to millions of likes and comments, making it a work that readers came forward to say, "Perhaps this is everyone's story."
This comic, which captures the ordinary and universal days of becoming a mother, was able to truly become 'perhaps everyone's story' after meeting readers.
