This is the world's best-selling spoken English grammar book!

Over the years, "A Communicative Grammar of English" has firmly established itself as both an authoritative and an innovative grammar book.
The third edition, which has completely revised the existing content, places a greater emphasis on spoken English and utilizes more empirical cases based on corpus data (texts created with the purpose of studying a specific topic in mind, translated as 'complete works' or 'language materials').
In addition, we tried to make the explanation much more 'educational' by providing a more concise explanation, presenting richer corpus examples using the Longman Corpus Network, and clarifying the difference between important and minor issues.
The structure of this book is basically the same as the second edition, with each section numbered and divided into three parts as follows:

- Part 1: A Guide to Using This Book
- Part 2 Practical English Grammar
- Part 3 All About English Grammar (A to Z)
