Publisher's Review
“What should I buy? And which stocks will go up?”
“When and how much should I buy it for?”
“When and how much should I sell it for?”
Investing is a fight against uncertainty.
It's inevitable to be anxious about when to buy this company's stock, whether the price is a low or a high, when to sell if you bought, and if a correction occurs, to what extent it will occur.
This is precisely why technical analysis is essential in investing.
The trading team "Dentist", comprised of five dental specialists who graduated from Yonsei University's College of Dentistry, has been providing the latest domestic and international technical analysis data, real-world cases, and top-tier trading data through the Naver Premium Content "Dentist's Investment Scaling" channel.
The new book, "Chart Analysis Bible with Dentist's Investment Scaling," covers everything from basics to advanced, cutting-edge investment techniques from around the world.
It also contains the process from the beginning stages of stock investment through the eyes of a non-specialist, to becoming an expert who can teach others.
Therefore, even investors who have no prior knowledge of technical analysis will be able to become proficient traders with just this one book.

The new bible of technical analysis!
- What is technical analysis?
The investment analysis methods we commonly use can be broadly divided into fundamental analysis and technical analysis.
While fundamental analysis can answer the question of "what to buy and why," technical analysis can answer the remaining question of "when and at what price to buy and sell."
- Why is technical analysis necessary?
If you think of investing as walking, fundamental analysis and technical analysis are each like a leg.
In other words, investors must take one step at a time, utilizing both fundamental and technical analysis.
This is because each analysis is comprised of a series of processes that cannot be considered in isolation.
Taking stocks as an example again, investors first select sectors and stocks through a fundamental analysis process.
Technical analysis is used to set better entry points, target prices, and stop-loss prices, and to manage investment amounts after entry.
Investors unfamiliar with technical analysis, even if they purchased stocks of companies with strong growth potential based on fundamental analysis, become anxious when stock price corrections occur, and even if sufficient target prices are reached, they become greedy and do not sell.
Assuming a sound fundamental analysis has been conducted, technical analysis can help reduce unnecessary holding periods and opportunity costs, and increase returns through good trading timing.
How to use this book
"Chart Analysis Bible with Dentist's Investment Scaling" covers everything from basics to advanced, cutting-edge investment techniques from around the world, making it a highly effective investment guidebook for beginners, intermediate investors, and even advanced investors.
First of all, if you are a beginner, it is recommended that you read this book from the beginning.
Chapters 1 through 5, which can be considered the first half, cover the most basic foundations of technical analysis, including candlesticks, trend lines, channels, patterns, and auxiliary indicators.
So, even if it is a bit boring, it is recommended to learn it 'properly' before going into more advanced content.
After that, it is organized in the order of understanding Wyckoff's investment perspective, Fibonacci, and ABCD & Harmonic Patterns. As for Price Action, which is covered in Chapter 9, it is best to learn it last because it is about understanding various situations that appear on actual charts based on all of these basic theories.
Since there may be some advanced content here and there, it is recommended that beginners skip the difficult content first and quickly finish reading it once.
Because the content is rather extensive, it may be difficult to read it all from the beginning if you try to understand everything and move on.
If you don't give up and read it again step by step, two or three times, you will be able to easily understand even the content that seemed difficult and unfamiliar at first.
For intermediate traders, it's recommended to quickly move on to the basics, such as candlesticks, trend lines, channels, patterns, and auxiliary indicators, focusing on examples and trading strategies to review only the things you didn't know.
I recommend reading Wyckoff's perspective (Chapter 5) in detail, as it contains important information for understanding overall investment and understanding the macro market.
Chapters 6 through 9 are organized in the following order: Fibonacci, ABCD, Harmonic, and Price Action.
You can start by reading the relatively basic chapters 1-5 or the more specialized chapters 6-9, depending on which chapter you want to learn first.
However, if there are any difficult parts in Chapter 9 Price Action, it is better to skip them first, read them through once, and then come back and study them again.
For advanced users, it is recommended to read excerpts to find parts they did not know, or to read quickly from the beginning with a focus on cases. It is also recommended to always keep the book by your side and read it to find parts you do not know when making investments.
The technical analysis content in this book will serve as a reliable investment companion, readily available for reference and assistance throughout your lifelong investing journey.
