National Tour Guidebook
Description
Book Introduction
Up-to-date information on over 1,300 travel destinations!
Korea's first nationwide travel guidebook, the latest edition for 2025-2026
『National Tour Guidebook』 is a travel book in which four travel experts create a route and introduce attractions based on car travel.
This book, which contains a variety of informative information gathered by traveling all over the world, has been loved as the No. 1 domestic travel guidebook since its first edition in 2016, and has been revised seven times over nine years.
This revised edition in particular has significant changes to the mission page structure along with the latest information updates.
We've compiled a list of recommended travel destinations by theme, including seaside trips, flower-viewing trips, bakeries, traditional markets, and trips with children.
If you're vaguely considering a domestic trip, you can use this book in two ways.
This method involves opening the map of our country on the first page, selecting a region, and then determining the route using the driving course suggested in the book.
Or, read the mission pages and decide on a travel theme.
Another way is to draw a route by marking the places worth visiting by theme on a map.
With information on over 1,300 attractions, restaurants, cafes, and accommodations, you can travel anywhere in Korea without worry by grabbing this book.

Into the book
Every year during the vacation season, the east coast and Sokcho area become objects of romance.
The blue sea is perfect for a leisurely vacation, and National Route 7 and the coastal road are perfect for driving.
You can admire the mystical scenery of Seoraksan Mountain from afar, and taste fresh, savory raw fish at ports large and small along the east coast.
This is a trip where you can truly enjoy everything the sea has to offer.
--- From "Part 2 East Coast National Route 7"
The West Coast Expressway is the second longest expressway in Korea after the Gyeongbu Expressway.
The construction of the West Coast Expressway has been discussed since 1980, but it was not until 1987 that it became concrete.
The opening of this highway, which aims to tap into the resource potential of the West Coast region, has made it easier to see the beautiful scenery of Taean, Seosan, and the Byeonsan Peninsula.
In particular, since the Taean area can be reached from Seoul in about two hours, many people visit during the New Year and New Year's holidays to see the sunset, sunrise, and sunset.
--- From "Part 6 West Coast Expressway No. 15"
It is the 10th highway built in the country.
With the completion of this expressway, the total length of our country's expressways will exceed 1,500 km.
When constructing the Central Expressway, cultural relics within the area were also investigated and excavated.
Because there are many reservoirs and river dams, fog often forms, and in the early morning, the fog creates a mystical feeling.
Let's visit the travel destinations along the Jungbu Expressway that runs north to south.
--- From "Part 9 Central Expressway No. 35"
Wonju is home to the Gangwon Provincial Office, which was the center of politics, economy, and culture during the Joseon Dynasty, the Hanji Theme Park, which promotes the excellence of traditional Korean paper, Yongsomak Cathedral, and Guryongsa Temple.
Yeongwol, which preserves the stories of wandering poet Kim Satgat and King Danjong, has so many museums that it can be called a roofless museum.
Be sure to visit Cheongnyeongpo, where the blue river flows through, as it is the place of exile filled with the tears of the young King Danjong.
There is also Jangneung, a World Heritage Site, Seonam Village with its Seondol Rocks and Korean Peninsula-like terrain, and Byeolmaro Astronomical Observatory.

Publisher's Review
1.
From flower-viewing destinations to delicious restaurants, 25 bakeries, and even travel destinations for kids!
Before planning a trip, think about "what to do" rather than "where to go."
Visiting a famous bakery and waiting for an hour or two to get bread can become a memory, and taking pictures in an exotic landscape can become the photos of a lifetime.
Traveling with a 'theme' can make your time more fulfilling than traveling only to a specific area.
It's not that you arrive at your travel destination wondering what to do, but rather you go there to do something.
This revised edition of the 『National Tour Guidebook』 has significantly increased the number of mission pages introducing these themed trips.
In addition to the existing best driving courses for all four seasons, Korea's world cultural heritage travel destinations, a coastal road where you can drive along the sea, seasonal flower viewing destinations, 25 of the nation's best restaurants and 25 bakeries, traditional markets, and travel destinations for children, a total of 10 themes were presented.
Don't miss out on the themed travel destinations selected by travel experts.
2.
Includes the latest information compiled by four travel experts.
This book is designed to allow you to see as many places as possible from the moment you exit the highway. By following only the recommended courses, you can see not only the major tourist destinations but also all the nearby attractions.
〈Travel Point〉 introduces the history and characteristics of each famous place, as well as recommended spots to visit together.
You can check basic information such as navigation addresses, phone numbers, operating hours, admission fees, parking fees, and websites, as well as travel tips you won't want to miss.
In particular, this revised edition has updated the spot information as of March 2025.
Many spots have closed or changed their operating information since the coronavirus outbreak, so be sure to check the guide before planning your trip.
The following <More&More> features a wealth of travel destinations that are great to visit together, while <Travel Plus> includes information on experiences you can enjoy with your children or lover, accommodations, restaurants, menus, and even hot places on social media.
With just one copy of the "National Travel Guidebook," you can enjoy a trip that encompasses all three elements: sightseeing, food, and relaxation.
3.
A compact format and a cool cover that stimulates your desire to travel!
This revised edition has been reduced in size to make it easier for travelers to carry in their bags or handheld. You can enjoy your domestic travels with this book without having to bother with social media.
The refreshing cover with the Busan Sky Capsule in the background is breathtaking and makes you want to go on a trip right away.
Let's travel all over South Korea, full of food, things to see, and things to enjoy, with this book.
