The story of how they ended up becoming presidents and how they ended up being fools forever. The one exception in history that has been manipulated by the haves This book began with an interview for the production of the film [Roh Moo-hyun and Fools], a commemorative film commemorating the 10th anniversary of the death of the late President Roh Moo-hyun. In 2000, when he gave up his seat in the National Assembly for Jongno, Seoul, and ran for the National Assembly in Busan, calling for the overthrow of regionalism, but was defeated, citizens nicknamed him "Fool Roh Moo-hyun" and spontaneously created the "People Who Love Roh Moo-hyun" (Nosamo). This time, we interviewed politicians who have walked the same path as President Roh Moo-hyun for a long time, including members of the Nosamo. The film production team traveled around the country for two years, conducting interviews with a total of 82 people, ranging from one hour to two to three days. The passion and regret that burned a period of time for these people who gathered to create a "world where people live, where principles and common sense prevail," saying they could not leave a "savage country" to their children, was not enough to be captured in a film with a running time of about 100 minutes. Accordingly, with the concept of 'Things that could not be said in the movie', the interview transcripts, which were over 25,000 pages long, were reduced to two volumes. The interview was so extensive that it couldn't all be included in the book, but we edited it to preserve the tone and meaning while minimizing overlapping parts as much as possible. I tried to capture the excitement and tension of the interview, as if everyone had gone back in time. Additionally, at the beginning and end of the book, and throughout the interview, we included excerpts from President Roh Moo-hyun's speeches on the values of democracy and the power of citizens, along with photos. |

This book contains each person's memories and regrets, from the background of joining the Roh Moo-hyun Movement and getting to know the politician Roh Moo-hyun, to episodes from the election campaign and political activities, the minority government and the opposition party, the relationship with the mainstream media, the first impeachment of a president in constitutional history, and up to his death.
It is divided into four parts in two books, with Volume 1 titled “Failure and Election,” and Volume 2 titled “Impeachment and Resignation.”
The events are arranged in chronological order, as the Roh Moo-hyun faction was formed after he lost the Busan National Assembly election in 2000, and this momentum led to his rise to the presidency.
Since the interview covers each individual's overall activities and feelings about the Roh Moo-hyun administration and their thoughts on President Roh Moo-hyun, the order or length of the interview is not particularly significant.
